Why Your Support Matters
Throughout our service area, one in nine adults and one in seven children don't know where their next meal is coming from. Through our network of 1,000 partner agencies and direct-service programs, the Food Bank provides nearly 55 million pounds of food annually.
Holiday Cards
During the months of November and December, the Regional Food Bank offers the unique Holiday Gift Alternative program. This program offers people an opportunity to provide a special tribute gift to family, friends, or business associates – in lieu of giving a more traditional holiday present. For a donation of $5 or more per card, the Food Bank will send a special holiday card to the designated recipient notifying them of the special and unique endowment made in their name. Note: Due to potential delays with USPS, orders received after Friday, December 12th are NOT guaranteed to be received by Christmas.

Help support the Food Bank in person!
Holiday Hunger Appeal displays are set up at Crossgates Mall in Albany, New York, and Woodbury Common Premium Outlets in Central Valley, New York. Volunteers ask shoppers to make a monetary donation to the Food Bank, and at Woodbury Common we wrap gifts as well!
Shifts are available daily at Crossgates and Thursday through Sunday at Woodbury Common Premium Outlets from Black Friday through Christmas Eve. Sign up starting October 31!
